- Hi, I’m Akshay Bahl. I am currently working in Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, I cleared SSC Stenographer 2018 Exam and I got Department of Personal and Training. Firstly, I would like to thank Pankaj Ji (STENO HELP PP), who gave me chance to write my story and tell you about my journey to clear SSC Steno 2018 exam.
I was born in 1997. About myself, I was born as differently abled person. I did my regular schooling upto class 9th. I had to left school in June 2012, when I was in class 9th. The reason was, I went through 7 surgeries from June 2012 to probably July 2013 (as well as two surgeries were done when I was 7-8 months old). After that I understood it was not going to be in the same situation and to get into my normal life before June 2012.
In 2013, My father suggested me to continue my study from Open Schooling and I took admission in NIOS. I completed my 10th and 12th in 2014 and 2016. After completing my higher studies, I got to know about Stenography from my dad and one of my known told us that Stenography is still in trending and she suggests me to prepare for the Government Stenographers Exam and she told me about the Coaching Centre.
I started learning Stenography in 2016, in beginning it was not easy for me, and after practicing day by day, I improved and I got confidence that I can clear the exam. The persons who helped me in learning Stenography was first my teacher, my Guru, Shri. Rajendra Prasad Chopra, he inspired me, guided me and helped me to reach to my goal. My father, my friends were also there for my help and to inspire me. Beside that, I also started preparation for computer based exam, I joined offline classes at Paramount, and after that I also joined online classes. To improve my English, I joined with one or two facebook groups, where I practiced English with people from different countries, and different accents. It helped me a lot.
My weakest point was GS and now I have to focus on to improve my GS Section. For my success, I would like to thank to Shri. Rajendra Prasad Chopra (My Shorthand teacher), My Father, My Friends, My Family and I would also like to thank to Pankaj Ji (STENO HELP PP) to give my guidance and helped me. I hope it may inspires you that not to underestimate yourself by comparing yourself with others. Because It’s our differences that make us unique and beautiful.
